Our verdict
XGODY is a budget electronics brand that started selling GPS navigators on eBay in 2009. Its best sellers are 7- and 9-inch sat navs for cars and trucks at $72–$94, with truck routing, Bluetooth calling on BT models, speed-camera alerts and free map updates (per XGODY). Product pages show 4.1–4.8 stars, and two models have over 1,000 reviews each. But independent feedback is very poor: Trustpilot shows 1.4/5 from 125 reviews (82% 1-star), mostly about devices failing and warranty claims not being honoured. The warranty is short (14-day refund, 30-day replacement, 180-day repair, all for defects only), the site lists no company name or address, and map updates come as download links you copy over yourself. Fine as a cheap sat nav if you accept the risk; use code TRANTRUNG for 10% off.

Overview
XGODY is a budget electronics brand. Its About page says founder Ben started selling GPS devices on eBay in 2009 and launched the XGODY brand in 2014. Today the store sells GPS sat navs for cars and trucks, Android TV boxes, projectors, tablets, phones and earbuds. Support is by email (support@xgody.com) and phone numbers in Germany and the US. The site doesn't give a company name or address.
This review covers prices, best sellers, ratings, shipping, returns and warranty, based on XGODY's store and policies as of October 2026. We haven't used these devices ourselves.
What XGODY's sat navs offer
XGODY's best sellers are standalone GPS navigators. Per XGODY's product pages, they typically have:
- 7- or 9-inch touchscreens at 800×480, with 256 MB RAM and 8 GB storage.
- Car and truck modes: enter your truck's height, weight, length and width to avoid restricted roads.
- Voice guidance, lane assist, 2D/3D maps, POI search and speed-camera and red-light warnings.
- FM transmitter to play the navigator's sound through your car stereo (it's not an FM radio).
- BT models: Bluetooth hands-free calling and AV-in for a backup camera.
- Free lifetime map updates (see below for how they work).
They run Windows CE, an old system, and some listings say the X10 shows "real-time road congestion"; with no data connection, we'd treat that claim with caution.
Speed-camera alerts are illegal in some countries (for example, France and Germany restrict them while driving). Check your local rules and turn the feature off if needed.

Best sellers
XGODY's best-selling products are mostly sat navs. In store order (accessories skipped):
| Product | Store rating | Price |
|---|---|---|
| X4 9" sat nav | 4.8 (9) | From $85.90 |
| X5 9" sat nav | n/a | Out of stock |
| T95 Android TV box | 4.4 (362) | From $42.99 |
| 886BT 7" truck sat nav | 4.6 (1,108) | $78.90 |
| X10 9" sat nav | 4.1 (16) | From $93.50 |
| 886F 7" sat nav | 4.5 (373) | $71.99 |
| 718 7" sat nav | 4.8 (1,045) | From $73.90 |
About the T95 TV box: in January 2023, a security researcher found malware built into the firmware of a "T95" Android TV box with the same Allwinner H616 chip, sold under various names on Amazon and AliExpress (Security Affairs). We don't know whether XGODY's T95 is affected, but we left it out of our recommendations.

Ratings: store vs Trustpilot
- On XGODY's product pages: the sat navs show 4.1–4.8/5. The 886BT (1,108 reviews) and 718 (1,045) have the most; the X4, despite being the top seller, shows just 9.
- On Trustpilot: 1.4/5 from 125 reviews, 82% 1-star. Recent complaints describe tablets, phones and dash cams failing within weeks or months, warranty claims not honoured or answered with partial refunds, and slow support. Trustpilot notes XGODY hasn't replied to negative reviews.
That's one of the biggest gaps between store and independent ratings we've seen. Many complaints are about non-GPS products, but they point to weak after-sales support.
Shipping
- Dispatch: within 72 hours of payment.
- Delivery: US, UK and Australia 4–10 working days; Western Europe and New Zealand 7–10; Canada, Eastern Europe, Middle East and South America 9–18.
- Free shipping on most items (check the listing).
- Duties and import taxes are paid by the buyer.
Returns and warranty: short and defect-only
Per XGODY's warranty and refund pages:
- 0–14 days: refund or replacement if the item has a quality problem.
- 15–30 days: free replacement for defects.
- 31–180 days: free repair; you send the item to XGODY's address.
- Contact support first; return in original packaging with tracking. Damage in return transit isn't accepted.
- Accidental damage isn't covered (XGODY says it may repair it for a fee).
There's no clear change-of-mind return policy, and a 180-day repair warranty is short for electronics. Pay with a card or PayPal that offers buyer protection.
How map updates work
XGODY promises free lifetime map updates, updated once or twice a year. In practice you email support or join its Facebook group to get a download link, then copy the files onto the device yourself, deleting the old folders first. It's free, but not as simple as the automatic updates on big-name sat navs.
Who should buy XGODY?
A good fit if you:
- Want a cheap, big-screen sat nav for a car, truck or RV and don't want to use your phone.
- Need truck routing on a budget.
- Are comfortable copying map files from a computer.
Think twice if you:
- Want reliable after-sales support and a long warranty.
- Need a backup camera bundle right now (most are out of stock).
- Drive in a country where speed-camera alerts are banned (turn them off).
The bottom line
XGODY's sat navs are cheap and full of features on paper, and its own product pages are full of positive reviews. But the 1.4 Trustpilot score, short defect-only warranty, missing company details and manual map updates make it a risky buy. If you go ahead, pick a well-reviewed model like the 886BT or 718, use code TRANTRUNG for 10% off and pay with buyer protection. Overall: 5.9/10.
