Our verdict

NIIMBOT makes small Bluetooth label printers you control from a free phone app: direct-thermal models like the B1 ($26.99) and 300 dpi B21 Pro ($69.99) that need no ink, the M2 ($99.99) and M3 ($169.99) thermal transfer printers that use ribbons for longer-lasting and colored labels, and the B4 ($89.99) for 4x6 shipping labels. Product pages show 4.7–4.9 stars, with hundreds of reviews on the M2 and B1. But Trustpilot shows 2.8/5 from just 10 reviews (unclaimed), mentioning slow shipping and unanswered support; orders can't be cancelled once placed, all returns are at your cost, defects after use are refunded as store credit, and the site doesn't state a warranty period. Good, affordable printers with a strict store; buy if you're sure which model and label size you need.

Overview

NIIMBOT is a Chinese label-printer brand selling small, battery-powered Bluetooth label makers that you design and print from the free NIIMBOT app (and a PC driver for many models). Its site, niimbots.com, calls itself the NIIMBOT Official Store and ships from US, UK and EU warehouses. NIIMBOT says its printing platform has 700,000+ registered users (its own figure). The site doesn't list a company name or address.

This review covers the range, prices, best sellers, ratings, shipping and returns, based on NIIMBOT's store and policies as of October 2026. We haven't used these printers ourselves.

Direct thermal vs thermal transfer

NIIMBOT sells two kinds of printer, and the difference matters:

  • Direct thermal (B1, B21 Pro, B4 and most B/D models): prints with heat on special labels. No ink, toner or ribbon to buy. Labels can fade over time with heat and sunlight.
  • Thermal transfer (M2, M3): uses a ribbon that melts onto the label. Labels last longer and resist water, oil, scratches and sun (NIIMBOT claims 8–10 years for M2 labels), and you can print in colors by changing ribbons. Ribbons are an extra running cost.

All of them need NIIMBOT label rolls, which the printers recognize automatically.

Prices

Printer Type Price at time of writing
B1 Direct thermal, 2" $26.99
B21 Pro Direct thermal, 2", 300 dpi $69.99
B4 Direct thermal, 4" shipping labels $89.99
M2 Thermal transfer, 2", 300 dpi $99.99
M3 Thermal transfer, 3", 300 dpi $169.99

NIIMBOT shows strike-through "compare at" prices; judge the actual price. Bundles with extra label rolls cost more. We don't have a coupon code for NIIMBOT at the time of writing.

Best sellers

NIIMBOT's best-selling printers at the time of writing (labels and duplicate listings skipped):

Printer Store rating Price
M2 thermal transfer 4.9 (343) $99.99
B21 Pro 300 dpi 4.9 (88) From $69.99
B1 4.9 (141) From $26.99
M3 color thermal transfer 4.7 (22) $169.99
B4 4" shipping label 4.8 (16) From $89.99

NIIMBOT lists the M2 under several names for different uses (lab vials, cosmetics, coffee); they're the same printer. See our best NIIMBOT label makers guide, the NIIMBOT M2 review and the M2 vs B21 Pro comparison.

Ratings: store vs Trustpilot

  • On NIIMBOT's store: best sellers show 4.7–4.9/5, with 343 reviews on the M2 and 141 on the B1.
  • On Trustpilot: 2.8/5 from just 10 reviews, and the profile is unclaimed. Recent complaints describe orders taking over a month, automated replies with no follow-up, wrong or missing items and trouble getting refunds. Older reviews praise the easy app and print quality.

Ten reviews is a tiny sample, but the complaints are about the store's service rather than the printers.

Shipping

  • Processing: 1–3 business days.
  • Delivery (shipping page): 5–10 days to the US and UK, 6–10 days to the EU with customs fees covered on standard shipping, 6–15 days to the Middle East and Asia, 3–5 days with express.
  • NIIMBOT ships from local warehouses when in stock, otherwise from Hong Kong. Its return page gives a wider 3–15 days (up to 25), so allow extra time.
  • If an order hasn't arrived within 45 business days, NIIMBOT offers a refund or replacement.

Returns and warranty: strict

  • No cancellations once an order is placed.
  • Change of mind: return within 30 days of delivery, unused and in original packaging, at your own cost (no restocking fee). Exchanges are also at your cost.
  • Damaged on arrival: send photos and video; NIIMBOT sends a replacement after verification.
  • Defective after use: report within 30 days of arrival; you return it at your expense and receive store credit.
  • Warranty: the refund policy mentions printers "under warranty" (serial number and all accessories required) but doesn't state how long the warranty lasts.

Who should buy NIIMBOT?

A good fit if you:

  • Run a small business and want cheap, phone-based printing for product, price, barcode or QR labels.
  • Want to organize your home or office without ink or tape cartridges.
  • Need a compact 4x6 shipping printer (B4) or durable, colored labels (M2, M3).

Think twice if you:

  • Might change your mind (no cancellations, returns at your cost).
  • Want a clearly stated warranty and responsive support.
  • Need labels from other brands; NIIMBOT printers are designed around NIIMBOT rolls.

The bottom line

NIIMBOT's printers are affordable, well-rated on its store and cover everything from a $26.99 home labeler to color thermal transfer and shipping-label printers. The weak points are the store's strict, buyer-pays return rules, no stated warranty length, mixed delivery estimates and thin, negative Trustpilot feedback. Choose your model and label size carefully before ordering. Overall: 7.0/10.

Frequently asked questions

Is niimbots.com the official NIIMBOT store?
The site calls itself the NIIMBOT Official Store and uses niimbot.com support email addresses. NIIMBOT says it also sells through major e-commerce platforms. The site doesn't list a company name or address.
Do NIIMBOT label makers need ink?
The B-series (B1, B21 Pro, B4 and others) use direct thermal printing on heat-sensitive labels, so they need no ink, toner or ribbon. The M2 and M3 use thermal transfer, which needs a ribbon but gives longer-lasting labels and color options.
What is NIIMBOT's return policy?
You have 30 days after delivery to return an unused item in its original packaging, at your own cost (no restocking fee). Orders can't be cancelled once placed. Items damaged on arrival are replaced after you send photos and video. If a product fails within 30 days of use, you return it at your expense and are refunded in store credit.
How long does NIIMBOT shipping take?
NIIMBOT ships from US, UK and EU warehouses where stock allows (otherwise Hong Kong). Its shipping page says 5–10 days to the US and UK, 6–10 days to the EU with customs fees covered, and 3–5 days with express. Its return page gives 3–15 days, up to 25 days in some cases.
Can I use other brands' labels in a NIIMBOT printer?
NIIMBOT printers auto-detect NIIMBOT label rolls. Plan to buy NIIMBOT labels (and ribbons for the M2 and M3); check compatibility before ordering third-party rolls.
