The high-pass filter vs Bluetooth
The A5's high-pass filter (30–200Hz) removes deep bass from the speaker outputs. With small bookshelf speakers and a powered subwoofer on the AUX output, that lets the speakers play cleaner and louder while the sub handles the low end. It's a feature rarely found at this price.
The A5 PRO drops the filter for everyday convenience: Bluetooth 5.1 for phones, bass and treble knobs to tune the sound, and a headphone jack for late-night listening. Its AUX output still feeds a sub, but full-range.
Power and power supplies
Both amps use the same TPA3255 and publish the same rated power. The "300W×2" in the product titles is a maximum. The included 32V/5A adapter gives 78W per channel into 4 ohms; the 48V/5A option gives 120W, for $20 more on either model.
