How to choose a ZHIYUN gimbal
1. Start with your camera's weight
Weigh your camera with its lens, battery and memory card. For a small mirrorless camera with a light lens, the compact Crane M3 makes sense; check its compatibility list, as the store page doesn't state a payload figure. For full-frame mirrorless bodies or lighter DSLRs with standard zooms, the Weebill models are rated at 3 kg.
2. Decide which features you'll use
- Native vertical shooting for Reels, Shorts and TikTok: Weebill 3E and 3S.
- A built-in fill light: Crane M3 and Weebill 3S.
- A large screen on the gimbal: Weebill 2.
