Our verdict

EyeCandys has a huge range of colored contacts, and its own-brand best sellers (Glossy, Cashmere, Doe) are aimed at a natural, ring-free look on dark eyes, at $35–$38 a pair or $29 for a box of 10 daily lenses. It asks US customers for a valid contact lens prescription, which is what the FDA recommends. The weak spots: its own-brand product pages list Korean and EU certifications rather than US FDA clearance, standard shipping takes 10–14 business days plus processing, the 30-day guarantee covers only first-time buyers, and Trustpilot shows a much more mixed picture (3.8/5, with 30% one-star reviews) than the store's own 4.8/5. Fine for an informed buyer with a prescription; check each lens's details before you order.

Overview

EyeCandys is an online store for colored contact lenses, with clear lenses, prescription glasses, press-on nails and eye-care accessories on the side. It says it has been in business since 2008, and its Trustpilot profile lists Hong Kong as its location. The About page doesn't give a legal company name or address.

The store sells its own brands (Glossy, Cashmere, Doe, Desire, Bunnie, Powerglow, Pink Label and others) next to Korean and Japanese brands such as NEO Vision, i-Girl/i-DOL, Olola and LILMOON, plus some mainstream lenses like Acuvue and Alcon FreshLook.

This review covers prices, best sellers, prescriptions and safety, shipping, returns and ratings, based on EyeCandys' store and policies as of October 2026. We haven't ordered or worn the lenses ourselves.

Safety first: colored contacts are medical devices

In the US, the FDA treats colored and decorative contact lenses, even with no vision correction, as medical devices, and it advises buying them only with a prescription from an eye doctor who has checked your eyes. Poorly fitting or poorly cared-for lenses can cause serious eye infections.

What that means at EyeCandys:

  • Prescription: EyeCandys says it requires a valid contact lens prescription for every US order, including 0.00 lenses. You can upload it, or give your eye doctor's name and phone number so EyeCandys can verify it.
  • Certifications vary by lens. EyeCandys lists US FDA documents for three manufacturers it carries: GEO Medical, Interojo and NEO Vision. Its own-brand best sellers we checked (Glossy, Cashmere, Doe) list Korea KGMP, Korea FDA and EU ISO/CE on their product pages, not US FDA clearance. If you're in the US and that matters to you, ask EyeCandys about the specific lens before ordering.
  • Wear them as directed. Stick to the replacement schedule (daily, 3-month, 6-month and so on), never share lenses, and see an eye doctor if you get redness, pain or blurred vision.

Prices

What Price at time of writing
Glossy colored lenses (6-month) $35 a pair
Cashmere colored lenses (3-month) $37 a pair
Doe colored lenses (3-month) $38 a pair
Glossy Ivory 1-Day (daily) $29 for 10 lenses (5 pairs)

Many own-brand reusable lenses carry a "buy 3 pairs, get 1 free" offer, which brings Glossy down to $26.25 a pair and Cashmere to $27.75 a pair. The daily Glossy Ivory 1-Day has a 4-box discount ($98.60 instead of $116).

Reusable lenses also need contact lens solution and a case, which aren't included.

Best sellers

EyeCandys' best-seller list is led by its own natural-look lenses for dark eyes:

Cashmere Hazel 3-month, MPC 12.4 mm $37 a pair
Cashmere Satin Olive 3-month, MPC 12.4 mm $37 a pair
Doe Blue 3-month, MPC 12.5 mm $38 a pair
Glossy Blue 6-month, HEMA 12.7 mm $35 a pair

All five come in 0.00 to -8.00 powers, are 14.2 mm wide and are designed to cover dark brown eyes. See our best EyeCandys colored contacts guide, our Glossy Ivory 1-Day review and the Glossy Ivory 1-Day vs 6-month comparison.

About the star ratings. Several EyeCandys product pages show reviews pooled from related products (for example, the Glossy lenses share 145 reviews), so a lens's rating may not be for that exact color or version.

Ratings: on-site vs Trustpilot

  • On EyeCandys: 4.8/5 from about 7,265 reviews.
  • On Trustpilot: 3.8/5 from 475 reviews (claimed profile). 54% are five-star, but 30% are one-star.

Positive Trustpilot reviews praise comfort, natural looks and helpful support. Negative ones mention long waits for delivery, colors looking different from the photos and refund disputes. EyeCandys replies to many of them.

Shipping

  • Processing: 2–4 business days (longer if a product page says so; the 24H Ship collection dispatches faster).
  • US standard: free over $75, 10–14 business days, with no import charges on delivery.
  • Express: about 4–7 working days, at extra cost (roughly $26–$34 below the free threshold).
  • EyeCandys ships from several warehouses; mixing items from different warehouses can add shipping fees.
  • It ships to about 30 countries, including Canada, the UK, Australia, Germany and Japan.

  • Only for first-time customers.
  • Covers one opened pair of EyeCandys or Pink Label colored lenses, bought at regular price.
  • If you don't like it, you can exchange it for another pair of the same brand or get a refund, excluding shipping fees. Unopened pairs from the same order can be handled too.
  • Not covered: other brands, glasses, press-on nails, sale, sample and gift items, and repeat customers.

Claims go through the help.eyecandys.com help desk within 30 days of receipt.

Who should buy from EyeCandys?

A good fit if you:

  • Have a current contact lens prescription and want natural colored lenses for dark eyes.
  • Are nearsighted (down to -8.00).
  • Want to try a daily colored lens before committing to a reusable pair.

Think twice if you:

  • Want lenses with US FDA clearance listed on the product page.
  • Need lenses quickly without paying for express shipping.
  • Are farsighted (the best sellers have no plus powers) or have astigmatism (check the toric range instead).

The bottom line

EyeCandys offers a big, well-priced range of colored contacts, and its own natural-look lenses are clearly popular. It does the right thing by asking US customers for a prescription. Before ordering, check the certifications listed for the exact lens, budget for two to three weeks of standard delivery, and remember the 30-day guarantee only helps first-time buyers.

Frequently asked questions

Is EyeCandys legit?
EyeCandys has been selling online since 2008, has a claimed Trustpilot profile since 2017, and asks US customers for a valid prescription. But its Trustpilot rating is mixed: 3.8/5 from 475 reviews, with 30% one-star reviews mentioning shipping delays, color differences and refund disputes. Its own site shows 4.8/5.
Do I need a prescription to buy from EyeCandys?
For US orders, yes. EyeCandys says it requires a valid contact lens prescription for every order shipped to the US, including colored and 0.00 (plano) lenses. You can upload your prescription or give your eye doctor's details so EyeCandys can verify it.
Are EyeCandys lenses FDA approved?
It depends on the lens. EyeCandys lists US FDA documents for three manufacturers it sells (GEO Medical, Interojo and NEO Vision). Its own-brand best sellers we checked (Glossy, Cashmere and Doe) list Korea KGMP, Korea FDA and EU ISO/CE certifications on their product pages, not US FDA clearance. If that matters to you, ask EyeCandys before ordering.
How long does EyeCandys shipping take?
Orders are processed in 2–4 business days. Standard shipping to the US is free over $75 and takes 10–14 business days; express shipping is faster at extra cost. Items in its 24-hour-ship collection dispatch sooner.
What is EyeCandys' return policy?
Its 30-Day Guarantee is for first-time customers. You can open one pair of EyeCandys or Pink Label colored lenses and, if you don't like it, exchange it for another pair of the same brand or get a refund (shipping fees excluded). Other brands, glasses, nails, sale and gift items aren't covered.
