SunFounder's best sellers fall into three groups: Raspberry Pi 5 cases, AI robot kits and an ESP32 starter kit. They do very different jobs, so we haven't scored them against each other. Instead we list SunFounder's five best-selling products in the store's best-seller order, with what each one is for, what you need to add, the price and the store rating. Prices and stock are as of October 2026.

Check Price on SunFounderHow we chose and ranked
We used SunFounder's best-selling sort on its full catalog, skipped a non-product fee listing, and kept the top five in that order. These products do different jobs, so instead of scores we compare what each is for, what you need to add, price and the rating shown on the SunFounder store. We haven't built these kits ourselves.
Quick comparison
| Product | Type | Needs a Raspberry Pi? | Rating on store | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pironman 5 | Pi 5 case, 1× NVMe | Yes (Pi 5) | 4.8 (163) | From $79.99 |
| Pironman 5-MAX | Pi 5 case, 2× NVMe | Yes (Pi 5) | 4.9 (200) | From $94.99 |

| PiDog | AI robot dog | Yes (5/4/3B+/Zero 2W) | 4.8 (126) | $179.99 |
| ESP32 Ultimate Starter Kit | Electronics/IoT kit | No (board included) | 4.9 (115) | $59.99 |
How to choose
1. Already have a Raspberry Pi 5?
Pick a Pironman case. The Pironman 5 is enough for one SSD; the Pironman 5-MAX adds a second NVMe slot for a NAS with RAID 0/1 or an SSD plus a Hailo-8L AI accelerator. See Pironman 5 vs 5-MAX.
2. Want to learn robotics and AI?
The PiCar-X is the cheaper, simpler robot (Python and Scratch, ages 10+). The PiDog is more complex, with 12 servos and more sensors. Both need a Raspberry Pi, and their AI chat projects use online LLM services such as ChatGPT or Gemini, or local models through Ollama.
3. Starting from zero?
The ESP32 Ultimate Starter Kit includes its board, 100+ projects and 50+ video tutorials in C++, MicroPython and Scratch, so you don't need anything else except a computer.
